17.07.2025
The 2025 Omega European Masters field continues to take shape, with two highly anticipated names joining the lineup: 2015 champion Danny Willett (ENG) and rising French star Martin Couvra (FRA), currently ranked 4th in the Race to Dubaï.
A familiar face at Crans-sur-Sierre, Danny Willett has a deep connection with the Swiss course, where he has often performed well over the years. The Englishman boasts eight DP World Tour titles, including some of the most prestigious in the game: the 2016 Masters Tournament, the BMW PGA Championship, the DP World Tour Championship and the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
In 2025, Willett has shown encouraging signs of form on the PGA Tour, finishing 9th at the Farmers Insurance Open and 13th at the RBC Canadian Open in June, further proof of his enduring competitiveness at the highest level.
Martin Couvra, meanwhile, will be making his debut at Crans-Montana this summer. The 22-year-old Frenchman is enjoying a breakout season, with a win at the Turkish Airlines Open, a runner-up finish at the Italian Open and a Top 5 result at the Hainan Classic. A winner on the Challenge Tour in 2023 (Challenge de España), Couvra now looks ready to make his mark on the main stage of European golf. His current top-5 position in the Race to Dubaï standings speaks volumes about his potential.
