The Højgaard Brothers Return to Crans-Montana for the 2025 Omega European Masters
03.07.2025
Danish twins Rasmus and Nicolai Højgaard will be back for the 78th edition of the Omega European Masters, held at Crans-Montana. After impressive appearances in recent years, they continue to establish themselves among Europe’s top golfers.
Rasmus Højgaard notably won the tournament in 2021, a memorable victory that remains part of the event’s history. His brother Nicolai also shone by finishing 5th in the 2023 edition. Both serve as ambassadors for OMEGA, the event’s title sponsor, and are eager to return to the Golf Club Crans-sur-Sierre — a course where their talent has already made a strong impression.
A highlight to remember: in 2021, Rasmus’ victory was quickly followed the very next week by Nicolai’s triumph at the Italian Open, a unique family double on the European Tour.
Now 24 years old, the Højgaard brothers have taken their game to the next level. They compete on both the DP World Tour and the highly competitive PGA Tour. Their continued progress places them among the most promising players of their generation.
In 2025, Rasmus impressed with a 2nd place finish at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, a team event he played alongside his brother. He also posted a solid T12 at the WM Phoenix Open on the PGA Tour and made the cut in several major championships, demonstrating his consistency at the highest level. To recall, he ended the 2024 season in style by winning the Amgen Irish Open just one week after the Omega European Masters.
Meanwhile, Nicolai also secured a 2nd place at the Zurich Classic with Rasmus and an excellent 8th place at the Mexico Open. He made the cut at the PGA Championship, further cementing his status as a world-class player. Selected for the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome, Nicolai is now a key figure in European golf.
Their brotherly bond, raw talent, and determination to excel on a demanding and spectacular course make the Højgaard brothers two of the most anticipated names for this 2025 edition.
