Clients eager to come to Crans-Montana
26.08.2022
At its stand in the Matterhorn Village, Vaudoise receives more than a hundred clients a day during the Omega European Masters. Sophie Rochat is part of the team responsible for welcoming them. As a golfer, she is able to give visitors the best possible advice. "I have been playing at the Lausanne Golf Club for ten years. Many of my friends wonder why I play this sport. I advise everyone to try it. Golf is both relaxing and rejuvenating, but it can be very frustrating. It teaches us to manage our emotions very well," says Sophie Rochat, Sponsorship and Events Intern for Vaudoise Insurance. Meetings are also important in golf. "This discipline allows us to play with people of all generations and all levels. It's also a great way to travel.
Pro-Am and Clinic on the programme
La Vaudoise has been the main sponsor of the Omega European Masters since 2014. In addition to welcoming its clients to its hospitality, it also allows them to participate in the Pro-Am and a Clinic at the beginning of the week. All these events are of course prepared in advance of the event. One of the big tasks is managing the requests. "Many of our clients want to come to this little paradise. But we are lucky enough to be able to welcome a lot of people during this week. We try to satisfy as many people as possible," continues Sophie Rochat, who used to come to Crans-Montana to watch the Open as a spectator. "Since I have been involved in the organisation, I see far fewer golf shots, but I follow the evolution of the rankings and the players more closely. Not all our visitors are golfers, so it's a matter of guiding them well."
