"Beat the Pros": A magical moment of sharing at the heart of the Omega European Masters

On Saturday, September 7th, hole 8 of the Omega European Masters course will host a unique event: the famous "Beat the Pros." On this day, 22 juniors selected by SWISS GOLF will have the exceptional opportunity to play alongside the last 22 professional players in the tournament, creating unforgettable memories for these young golfing talents.

The magic begins as soon as the juniors arrive at the tee of hole 8. Each junior is welcomed to the tee before the professionals. Once the professionals arrive, they are introduced to the juniors by the event coordinator, fostering a friendly and exciting atmosphere.

The professionals take the first tee shot, demonstrating their skill and technique. Then it's the juniors' turn to take their shot. It’s an emotional moment as the young players, full of excitement, rise to the challenge alongside their idols.

After teeing off, the juniors and professionals walk together to the green.

The referee or competition official then determines who, between the professional and the junior, is closest to the hole.

There will also be a separate ranking among the juniors. The official will measure the distance from each junior's ball to the hole to establish a ranking among them.

The day concludes with a prize-giving ceremony, held at the end of the day near tee No. 1. This will be a special moment for all the juniors to come together.

"Beat the Pros" is much more than just a competition. It’s a moment of sharing and inspiration, where juniors get the chance to live an enriching experience alongside some of the best players in golf.
