The money raised will be fully donated to the Swiss Olympic Climate Fund, aimed at protecting the environment through impactful projects and measures.

Here is Swiss Olympic’s 2025 report:

- 57 initiatives supported;

- 4 climate protection projects;

- Swiss Olympic awarded the IOC’s “Climate Action” Prize in 2024;

- 607.8 metric tons of CO2 avoided through environmental protection projects (heat pumps, alternatives to diesel generators, and a forestry project in Uganda).

Carbon Financing: Estimation of emissions from visitors, calculated considering their average travel distance. 0.02 tonne CO2/visitor based on 2021 and 2022 data collected by bloomUp sustainability agency and scientifically calculated and validated by GEO Foundation.

Average per visitor: 0.02t = 20kg = 436 golf balls filled with CO2

Swiss Olympic Financing: CHF 100.-/tonne, thus CHF 2.-/0.02t
