Villiger, golf’s good partner
Smoke on the Haut-Plateau isn't alarming during the tournament week. The traditional Swiss cigar brand Villiger is one of the loyal partners of the Omega European Masters.
Not long ago, the company based in Pfeffikon, Lucerne added the "Do Brasil" to its range, in the "Claro" and "Maduro" variants. At the Omega European Masters, this innovation from Brazil is highly appreciated. "It seems that we took too little of it with us. The 'Do Brasil' is very popular up here", said Nicole Fröhli, Head of Event Marketing at Villiger. The two permanent Villiger stands, on the 18th hole and in the Village Mont Blanc on the 17th hole, are still expecting many visitors until the end of the tournament.
Nicole Fröhli has been busy. She was with Villiger at the Federal Wrestling Festival in Zug, which was attended by 400,000 people. A few days later, she is present at the Swiss golf tournament, which is just as rich in tradition. From swinging to golf, the audience is different. In golf, Villiger primarily offers its premium products, quality cigars. The golf enthusiasts treat themselves to something good at the end of the round. The non-golfer Nicole Fröhli is undoubtedly very satisfied with Villiger’s attendance at the Omega European Masters.
