Andres Romero, as Jimenez once

The Argentinian Andres Romero – not related to legendary two-time Crans-winner Eduardo Romero – achieved a round of 61 strokes on Friday. It's the best result since the course was rebuilt in 1999, with only Spaniard Miguel Angel Jimenez winning in 2010 and Scotland's Craig Lee in 2013 also managing 61 strokes.
Andres Romero interrupted his great run (eight birdies, plus an eagle on the 6th hole) with a single stroke loss on the 2nd hole, the 11th hole of his round.
The 38-year-old Argentinian was one of the most promising players in the world ten years ago. He finally won the European Tour in Munich in 2017.
