Alexander Noren will defend his title in September!
Alex Noren, World no. 10 from Sweden, will defend his title at the Omega European Masters 2017.
Having already claimed his first European Tour victory in 2009 on the Crans-Montana course, the 34-year-old Swede went on to make his mark on the 2016 season. Regularly finishing towards the top of the leaderboard, he impressed on 4 separate occasions during the second half of the season: Winning last July in Scotland; September in Switzerland; October in England and, finally, November in South Africa. To date, he has secured 8 titles on the European Tour.
These excellent results in 2016 gave him almost 4 million euros in earnings, 3rd place in the Race to Dubai (European Tour rankings) and allowed him to reach no. 10 in the world.
The Omega European Masters will be held from 7th to 10th September 2017 on the Crans-Montana golf course.
